I’ve always loved ferns. They create an almost magical environment on the forest floor.
The ferns that swing from the gemstone were modeled after ferns growing near my house. I collected and dried them before selecting the size most suitable for earring. Then a rubbing was made to get the outline of the ferns which then transferred to the sterling silver. They were pierced, refined, scribed and soldered before adding them to the gemstones. Now you can carry ferns with you wherever you go!
